Hi PropertyLimBrothers, First off, thanks for this great video! It was packed with valuable insights, and I really appreciate the depth of analysis you provided. I’m 21 this year and have taken the first step by securing a Standard BTO under the owner-occupier scheme. My partner and I recently went down for our OTP for the Jurong Skyline BTO and managed to get a high-floor unit (Level 29) with an unblocked view. Since I have the potential to earn more in the future, we decided to list my partner as the owner to keep my name free for future property purchases. After watching this video, I do have some concerns. Our BTO isn’t near an MRT station, and with the long 9-year wait (construction + MOP), the rental yield might not be as strong as some of the cases you shared. While the wait time isn’t an issue since we’re still young, I’m wondering if a different approach would be better in the long run. Would it make more sense for us to go for a Sell 1 Buy 2 strategy later on? Since we have more time to save over these 9 years, the plan could be: • My partner buys a 1-bed, 1-bath unit for rental, because she has to pay ABSD. • I buy a 3-bed, 2-bath unit since I wouldn’t have to pay ABSD. Or do you still recommend we stick to this strategy, accept the lower rental yield while buying a condo for homestay, and look for a better exit/progression plan later on? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Thank you for your purchase!
